An ancient protector of the forest, the Keeper fights to save the lush lands of Newerth he has tended to his whole long life. Possessing a spiritual link to the trees, the Keeper has the ability to see what they see, be hidden amongst them, and even use them as brutal weapons to aid him in battle.
A literal tree trunk's worth of strength and armor, the Keeper of the Forest has but one massive offensive ability in Root. Nevertheless, his Nature's Protection, coupled with his naturally high strength gain, allows him to farm with abandon.

The Keeper uses his influence over the forest to hide and buff his allies. Grants Invisibility if close to a tree, Armor, and Regeneration to target unit. Also applies Root to enemy when attacking out of Invisibility.
Range: 1000 Mana Cost: 70 Cooldown: 10 seconds
Target an allied unit to apply 1 second fade time Invisibility as long as they are within 400 units of a tree, 2/3/4/5 (5/6/7/8 to Structure) Health Regeneration, and 2/3/4/5 (5/6/7/8 to Structure) Armor for 15/30/45/60 seconds.
Keeper of the Forest himself applies 1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds Root when attacking enemy unit out of Camouflage, immobilizing and dealing 70 Magic Damage per second to Rooted target.

Stealth state on Keeper of the Forest will not be dispelled if Nature's Guidance is cast while near trees.
Nature's Guidance applies two mutually exclusive status effects: a buff that grants bonus Armor and Health Regen, and a Stealth effect.
Bypasses Magic Immunity on ally heroes.
Camouflage doesn't apply on Structures.
Camouflage has 0.8 second linger time if further than 400 units from a tree.

Target a tree to Animate 4 nearby trees. Trees deal 19/22/25/28 damage, have 390/460/530/600 health and 300 Movement Speed. This ability allows you to have up to 4 Animated Trees.
Animated Trees are considered trees for all of your abilities. Animated Trees spawned by other abilities do not count towards the limit.

Summoning new Animated Trees will kill the currently active Animated Trees.
Animate Forest "chains" to the nearest tree within 500 radius.
Animated Trees cannot attack Towers if Keeper of the Forest is not within 925 units of it.

Target a tree to enchant it, granting 800 radius Clearvision to Enchanted Tree as long as it is still alive. Enemies can see the Enchanted Tree if they have vision over it

Animated Trees will spawn from a random angle within 75 to 100 units from the target.
Propagates to illusions, but illusions have 1/3 the chance to spawn an Animated Tree.
Grants up to 20/40/60/80 Attack Speed.
Excluding the calculation of Animated Tree from Animate Forest, spawn chance of Animated Tree is reduced by 0.6x (multiplicatively) for each existing Animated Tree when attacking non-hero units.
Root (Naturalized Roots)

Type - Superior Magic
The Keeper calls upon the roots in the ground to disarm and immobilize his foes, as well as damage them over time.
Radius: 900 Mana Cost: 150/175/200 Cooldown: 120 seconds
Activate to Immobilize, Disarm, and inflict 125 Magic Damage per second on nearby enemies for 2/3/4 seconds, and grants you Unitwalking for the duration. Also Stuns everyone hit for 0.5 second.
Effect also emanates from all of your active Animated Trees.
Spawns 3 Animated Trees next to each enemy hero hit. Animated Trees have 600 Health, 25 Attack Damage, 300 Movement Speed, and last 40 seconds.

The Root debuff can be applied through Magic Immunity, but can be dispelled.
As a result, activating Magic Immunity after being rooted will negate the effect.
The Root effect emanating from Animated Trees do not stack.

Summons a Nature's Sentinel with 600 Health and 4/6/8/10 Armor at the target location with 1/2/3/4 limbs. Each limb deals (10 + 10% of Keeper's Attack Damage) as Physical Damage per attack from 350 range, prioritizing heroes for attack. The Nature's Sentinel and its limbs count as trees.
Heroes and towers will take the Sentinel down in 2 hits regardless of damage. This ability is disabled for 3 seconds when the Sentinel takes damage from enemy players and is put on cooldown if it is killed while disabled.
